Welcome to Morgan Township Elementary!

Morgan Township is situated south of Valparaiso, Indiana on State Road 49.  In 2013, Morgan Township Elementary was selected as a National Blue Ribbon School because of its academic successes and quality staff.  At Morgan, we believe in developing the whole child . . . academically, socially, and emotionally. Morgan is truly a family atmosphere.

The Morgan Township Staff works diligently to ensure mastery of the Common Core State Standards by all students.  Our educators continually better themselves through professional development opportunities offered in our district and those personally sought out by academic teams.  Professional Learning Communities are also utilized as a way to stay on top of the ever-changing world of education. Meeting the needs of all students is the number one goal of our educators.

Educating the “whole child” means offering quality, extra-curricular programs for students to partake in during the school year.  Morgan offers basketball, student council, Spelling Bee, Spell Bowl, Math Bowl, STEM Club and Art Club. All students are encouraged to be active members of our Reading Counts program which promotes the love of reading and becoming lifelong learners.

It truly does “take a village” to raise our Morgan students.  We warmly welcome our parents to become volunteers during the school day, advocate for Morgan Township Elementary after school hours, and ultimately, be the biggest cheerleader for their children.

Morgan Township Elementary has a rich tradition of excellence.  Our dedicated staff, students, and families make Morgan Township one of Indiana’s best schools.
